Good to read this, Tara – and I appreciate that it's not easy putting your innerside out there.

I'm happily (and hippily) exploring the innerpreneur concept / practice. Not sure yet what it means for me – and not sure if I would comfortably, publicly apply it to myself, but I'm interested in how it might work in relation to the tension between self and selflessness – being by serving or, more crudely, getting by giving.

Can innerpreneurs seek selflessness? Does the urge to market the enterprise and serve the 'brand' and feed the tangible Self impede the inner journey?

Pondering... Thanks for the inspiration to think on this.

this really touches my heart. i used to afraid in the same way you're talking about and that fear kept me from doing some of the things i really wanted to do. i have since restructured my life to surround myself with more supportive and open hearted people, so that in my world – being open and true to myself is not smirked at, it's celebrated and supported. i wish for a world where we all experience this kind of support and acceptance, it's so important.

Tara, actually what makes you more of a leader is the fact that you do care with conviction. Religion, no matter what, always has an element in everything we do in life, so why not in business. When you start to compromise your beliefs and values for the almightly dollar, that is when you lose a part of yourself and your business goes belly up. Having the compassion and passion that you have, allows you to succeed more so than the average person because you have been able to stay grounded. I may be a little more subjective in my opinion about you, but it is because I care. As far as, anyone else telling you otherwise, tell them to blow it out of their…you know what. Besides, just remember the whole reason behind why you created your business and the use of the term ” Innerpreneur” and what it stands for. Now, you go girl!!! Love Ann
