Bill Boulton: May 2011 Innerpreneur Spotlight
The only person like me in the world and you are the only person like you. :)
(I’m serious.) Life for me is not fun when I try to adhere to someone else’s mental fingerprint. For a longer version of what I’m all about, please check this out.
My passion is for:
Speaking, writing, and helping others with public speaking. I also love reading, watching movies, listening to music, and trail running. I think that my wife, Emily, and my Siberian Husky, Cody, are really cool! (I’m biased, but most people seem to agree with me.)
My business helps you:
Be yourself in a public speaking situation. Overcome your fear of public speaking. Become a better speaker. My business also helps you laugh!
My biggest challenge is:
Staying organized. My ability to concentrate is 20 out of 100. (Clinically diagnosed as ADHD.)
I make a difference by:
Wow! I tend to talk a lot and that is hard for me to answer. I believe one way I make a difference is by working very hard to accept other people as they are and by helping other people feel comfortable being themselves. Hopefully, I make a difference by helping innerpreneurs/values based business owners become more effective speakers.
I have lots of ideas about:
Name it! Okay, here’s a partial list: Public speaking, rock n’ roll, social business enterprise, and sustainable business, I can also talk much about living with chronic medical conditions, psychology, and spirituality. If you have several days to spare, I will be very glad to discuss your favorite movies and my favorite movies. (Note: The chronic medical conditions I have first hand experience with are: Ulcerative Colitis, ADHD, Depression, and Anxiety)
That starting a business is hard! There are many business books available, but I could not find a book called Starting the Speaking Husky. Oh! I guess I’ll need to write that book myself!
“Each time a man stands up for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he sends forth a tiny ripple of hope, and crossing each other from a million different centers of energy and daring, those ripples build a current which can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance.” – Senator Robert F. Kennedy
Bill also wants to share:
The poem Mary by William Blake. Read it here.If you would you like to be considered for an upcoming “Innerpreneur Spotlight”, email me.
