That&#8217;s easier said than done on days when She won&#8217;t shut up. I can barely hear my Self through Her noise.<\/p>\n<h3>Authenticity &amp; Cultural Creativity<\/h3>\n<p>Laura Cococcia over at <a title=\"The Journal of Cultural Conversation\" href=\"http:\/\/www.thejcconline.com\/\">the Journal of Cultural Conversation<\/a> asked me to reflect on the Cultural Creative values of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Authenticity, actions must be consistent with words and beliefs<\/li>\n<li>Engaged action and whole process learning; seeing the world as interwoven and connected<\/li>\n<li>Idealism and activism<\/li>\n<li>Globalism and ecology<\/li>\n<li>The importance of women<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>And write on those values that have resonated with me the most. In my article, <em><a title=\"Authenticity and Cultural Creativity: The Journal of Cultural Conversation\" href=\"http:\/\/www.thejcconline.com\/authenticity-and-cultural-creativity-guest-post-by-tara-joyce\/\">Authenticity and Cultural Creativity<\/a><\/em>, I determine that &#8220;I see my authenticity as the roots of my values and that everything else springs forth from what I find inside. I\u2019m <strong>driven by me, being true to my Self<\/strong>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>I go on to say, &#8220;<strong>It\u2019s all about me and I won\u2019t apologize for it<\/strong>&#8220;. And I mean it.<\/p>\n<p>Except on a day like today. Today, I would apologize for it.
