Me, as a creative being.<\/h3>\n

I can’t pinpoint where or when I made the decision,<\/p>\n

but at some point I decided – THAT part of me – the very soul of me, is<\/p>\n

safer being hidden and ignored.<\/h3>\n

If I don’t share it, I can never be hurt or disappointed by it.<\/p>\n

It can never be held up as no good,<\/p>\n

and I will never know I am no-talent.<\/p>\n

If I don’t recognize it, I can be sure to stay in a place where no one else does either.<\/p>\n

But it turns out that the Me I’ve been avoiding,<\/p>\n

she wants creative recognition.<\/h3>\n

She’s never going to be happy being stifled and silenced.<\/p>\n

And so my choice arises each day,<\/p>\n

am I to start somewhere, create and honour me,<\/p>\n

or am I to avoid me,<\/p>\n

as I have become so accustomed to doing?<\/p>\n

It’s safer to stay in hiding,<\/p>\n

and often I\u00a0 do. Every day I must work to not avoid Me.<\/p>\n
