This is space to share my musings—unformed ideas, collections of words that catch my fancy, that sort of thing. I'm the author of Pay What It's Worth and the Cross My Heart series.

Past Present Future

Our past, the present, and our unwritten future, and what we think of them, they tend to haunt us now and again.

If your ghosts happen to visit this holiday season (or any time), why not invite them in and explore with them. They have much to teach us when we are open to acknowledging them and adapting to their presence.

Learning From the Past: The Ghost of Who You Were

Whether you’re a fan of change or not, you aren’t the same person as you were. You’ve changed. You’ve grown.

Your visions of the past can be one of your chief assets. They can tell you about Who You Are now, what you want, what you don’t want, what you like and what you don’t.

Who You Were can show you that the good stuff and the bad stuff have helped to shaped you equally.

How you remember Who You Were is yours to choose. It can be your chain, it can be your springboard, it can be whatever you desire.

Being With the Present: The Ghost of Who You Are

Only in this very moment are you present. Only in the now are you Who You Are.

Your mind, your thoughts, keep you in the past, or… race you to the future. It is only in the place of feeling, of acting on instinct, that you are present and You.

Before you can think it, you must feel it. Notice the feelings. Who You Are creates Who You Will Be.

Playing With the Future: The Ghost of Who You Will Be

The future is unwritten and it’s yours to create. Who You Will Be is altered in the present, through your choices.

In allowing your decisions to come from within, you’ll find order emerging from your creative choices. Your future can be whatever you envision — if you make choices that support Who You Are.

Don’t allow limited views to restrict your visions. Who You Will Be is yours to design.
